Is it that i run backwards?
or the path betrays?
A black ray of light follows,
everywhere i go, every chance i take.
Looping through and fro, this everlasting maze
from one to infinity, and back to one again.
Caught in this ecstatic state of grace,
waiting for the predator to take away my pain.
Yet in a hope of a better life, a placid dream.
for me to later realise that todays tomorrow,
becomes a yesterday again.
